04 - Dust a clean surface with powdered sugar, roll the dough to roughly 1/2 inch thickness, and cut into rounds using a small cookie cutter or shape into balls and flatten gently.
05 - Place shapes on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
06 - Dip each piece into melted dark chocolate or drizzle chocolate over the tops, then garnish with crushed peppermint candies if desired.
